amor,
So Vero

Admit it:
You love makeup as much as I do, BUT you can still
hear your grandmother’s voice telling you how bad it is to wear makeup
everyday. Actually that's popular myth because nowadays good quality makeup is
designed to protect your skin. Even so, wearing heavy makeup everyday can be
disastrous. So here's a little tip about makeup:
If it's a hot and humid day DITCH YOUR FOUNDATION. Vero, say
WHAAAT? With high temperatures chances are you will start sweating, and if you
to that you add the humidity in the air, the result would probably be a melting
foundation or big blobs of pasty foundation on your face... a disaster! So,
unless you have an important meeting (your best friend’s wedding, a photo shoot,
or your great-grandparents’ 100th anniversary), you can choose to
use a tinted moisturizer instead.
What is a tinted moisturizer? A tinted moisturizer is
basically what it sounds like: a moisturizer with added color that can help us
cover slight imperfections. Unlike foundation, this moisturizer is very light
and does not become runny. As you may know, if you have extremely oily skin and
use a moisturizer, your skin can end up looking EXTRA shiny, but not to worry, you
can set your tinted moisturizer with translucent loose powder and VOILA,
problem solved!
I
recommend trying one of the following tinted moisturizers: Bobbi Brown Extra
Tinted Moisturizing Balm ($54, nordstrom.com),
o M·A·C Studio Moisture Tint ($32, maccosmetics.com),
or a much cheaper option Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer ($10.99; ulta.com).
Well lovelies, I hope you enjoyed today’s post. Do not
forget you can call me or email me if you need any other tips or need an
appointment.
